    Overview:


    Our partners are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Project Developer to lead new energy projects from inception to Notice to Proceed (NTP). This role encompasses comprehensive responsibilities in site selection, land acquisition, permitting, interconnection, and offtake strategy. Travel is required and can be expected to be around 15-30% of the time. After the project successfully reaches NTP, you will hand project execution over to the construction team while maintaining relationships with landowners. 


    The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of renewable energy project development experience with at least 2 years focused on nuclear/SMR, or alternatively, 7+ years of development experience across diverse technologies. The company is actively developing across WECC (including CAISO), MISO, ERCOT, PJM, and additional markets.



    Key Responsibilities:


    • Project Origination: Identify and evaluate potential opportunities for new projects to add to an existing pipeline and portfolio. 

    • Site Identification and Acquisition: Identify and evaluate potential sites for new projects, considering factors such as resource availability, grid access, and land use. Secure site control through leases, purchases, or easements. GIS expertise preferred. 

    • Permitting and Regulatory Compliance: Lead the permitting process, ensuring compliance with local, state, and federal regulations. Coordinate with regulatory agencies and manage environmental assessments.

    • Interconnection Strategy: Oversee the interconnection process, including application submissions, studies, and agreements with utilities and grid operators.

    • Offtake Strategy: Develop and implement strategies for securing power purchase agreements (PPAs) or other offtake arrangements. Collaborate with internal teams to align offtake strategies with project goals.

    Compensation: $120,000-$135,000 (Base)



    Overview:


    Our partners are seeking a driven and technically fluent EPC Sales Manager to lead business development for full-scope engineering, procurement, and construction (EPC) services in the utility-scale solar, battery energy storage (BESS), wind, and geothermal markets. This is a high-impact role focused on originating, qualifying, and closing EPC contracts with developers, IPPs, and asset owners across North America.


    The ideal candidate brings a blend of commercial skill, technical understanding, and industry relationships. You’ll act as a trusted advisor to clients while coordinating with preconstruction, engineering, and executive teams to win high-value, technically complex projects.


    Key Responsibilities:


    • Client Origination: Identify and engage utility-scale developers, IPPs, and asset owners with EPC needs across solar, storage, wind, and geothermal

    • Solution Selling: Translate client objectives into tailored EPC proposals that address cost, risk, timeline, and technology mix

    • Bid Development: Coordinate with estimating, engineering, and commercial teams to generate accurate, compelling bids and proposals

    • Negotiation & Closing: Lead contract negotiations for EPC agreements, ensuring alignment on scope, risk allocation, and delivery milestones

    • Market Intelligence: Track trends in project development, interconnection, permitting, and regional pricing to stay competitive and strategic

    • Account Management: Build long-term client relationships to support repeat business, upselling, and referrals

    • Cross-Team Coordination: Act as the commercial lead interfacing with internal technical, finance, and operations teams


    Qualifications:


    • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, business, or a related field

    • 5+ years of business development or sales experience in the energy or infrastructure space

    • Direct experience selling or structuring EPC services for utility-scale energy projects

    • Strong understanding of the commercial, technical, and contractual aspects of EPC delivery

    • Excellent communication, negotiation, and project coordination skills

    • Willingness to travel (~25–40%) for client meetings, conferences, and site visits


    Preferred Qualifications:


    • Established network in U.S. utility-scale renewables (solar, BESS, wind, geothermal)

    • Familiarity with contract structures including EPC, EPCM, design-build, or turnkey

    • Experience with proposals and negotiations in RFP environments

    • Understanding of interconnection and permitting implications on EPC timelines

    • Proficiency in CRM platforms and commercial proposal tools

    Job Title: Assistant General Counsel – Utility-Scale IPP

    Compensation: $170,000 – $215,000 base salary 


    Overview:


    Our partners are seeking an experienced and agile Assistant General Counsel to support a rapidly growing Independent Power Producer (IPP) focused on utility-scale solar, wind, and battery storage. This is a cross-functional legal role with direct exposure to commercial structuring, development, interconnection, financing, and M&A.


    As part of a lean legal team, you’ll work closely with business leaders to provide strategic legal advice while rolling up your sleeves to draft and negotiate the critical agreements that make projects happen.


    Key Responsibilities:


    • Transactional Legal Support: Draft, review, and negotiate project-level agreements such as PPAs, EPC contracts, site control documents, interconnection agreements, and NDAs

    • Project Development Counsel: Provide legal guidance through land use, environmental, permitting, and regulatory hurdles at the local, state, and federal level

    • Regulatory Oversight: Monitor relevant FERC, NERC, and ISO/RTO rule changes; advise internal teams on compliance strategies

    • Corporate & M&A Support: Assist in project and platform-level acquisitions, joint ventures, and equity/debt financings

    • Risk Management: Identify, communicate, and mitigate legal risks across active portfolios and pipeline projects

    • Internal Collaboration: Work with development, interconnection, origination, and capital markets teams to align legal input with business goals

    • Legal Operations: Contribute to scalable legal processes, contract templates, playbooks, and knowledge-sharing across teams


    Qualifications:


    • JD from an accredited law school; admitted to practice in at least one U.S. jurisdiction

    • 5+ years of relevant legal experience (combination of law firm and in-house preferred)

    • Strong track record negotiating contracts in project development or energy infrastructure

    • Familiarity with power project lifecycle—from land acquisition through COD

    • Sharp analytical skills and excellent communication across stakeholders

    • Comfort working independently and managing diverse workloads in a deadline-driven environment


    Preferred Qualifications:


    • In-house experience at an IPP, developer, or clean energy investor

    • Experience working across PJM, ERCOT, CAISO, MISO, or WECC markets

    • Understanding of project finance structures, tax equity, or storage-specific revenue models

    • Experience managing outside counsel and helping build internal legal systems

    • Interest in mentoring junior legal or compliance staff


    Compensation:


    • Base salary range of $170,000 – $215,000 depending on experience and location

    Overview:


    Our partners are seeking a proactive and detail-driven Asset Manager to oversee a growing portfolio of distributed and small utility-scale solar and battery energy storage (BESS) assets, ranging from 1MW to 20MW. This role ensures that projects perform as expected—technically, contractually, and financially—throughout their operational life.


    The ideal candidate understands the full lifecycle of distributed energy assets, from commissioning to O&M to cash flow modeling. You’ll work closely with technical, financial, and commercial stakeholders to drive performance, resolve issues, and ensure strong reporting across a dynamic portfolio.


    Key Responsibilities:


    • Portfolio Oversight: Monitor performance of operating solar + BESS assets using SCADA and performance management tools

    • Operations Management: Coordinate with O&M providers and field technicians to address outages, maintenance, and site-level issues

    • Performance Analytics: Track KPIs (availability, PR, degradation, etc.) and investigate underperformance to drive corrective actions

    • Financial Reporting: Prepare and review monthly/quarterly performance and financial reports for internal stakeholders and investors

    • Contract Compliance: Ensure adherence to terms in PPAs, interconnection agreements, incentive programs, and site leases

    • Budgeting & Forecasting: Assist in annual budget planning and project cash flow forecasting

    • Lifecycle Optimization: Identify cost-saving opportunities and value enhancements across the asset base


    Qualifications:


    • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, finance, renewable energy, or a related field

    • 3-7 years of experience in asset management, operations, or project finance within the renewable energy sector

    • Working knowledge of solar PV and BESS operations, monitoring systems, and performance metrics

    • Strong communication and reporting skills across technical and financial audiences

    • Comfort managing third-party vendors, contractors, and data platforms

    • Detail-oriented and organized, with the ability to manage multiple assets and priorities


    Preferred Qualifications:


    • Experience with distributed generation (DG) or community solar portfolios

    • Familiarity with regional incentive programs and regulatory frameworks

    • Understanding of contract structures for PPAs, O&M, and land leases

    • Proficiency with asset management software, Excel models, and dashboard tools

    • Geographic familiarity with PJM, NYISO, ISO-NE, ERCOT, or CAISO markets
